Media Decor, available through Next Electronic Systems, conceals an LCD TV with an elegantly framed painting. The QX Series was voted Product of the Year by Electronic House Magazine. When turned on, the TV moves to a preset position and may be tilted and swiveled for optimum viewing. This Crestron ML-600 remote will control the operation and your customized pre-sets as well as lighting and audio.
In this Austin home, Next Electronics designed and installed audio, video and automation controls throughout the house. We also created the wiring infrastructure. All audio and video source equipment is centralized in one location. The sources can be accessed from many rooms as well as outside, including the grotto area. Therefore, the homeowners can enjoy all their music and movies while sitting in the Jacuzzi in the grotto. Here, we installed Rockustics high fidelity weatherproof speakers which were custom matched to the rock walls so they are visually undetectable. A Crestron waterproof wireless “Remote on a Rope” controls music, the LCD TV, lighting and the waterfall. This remote is entirely immersible, so it’s also safe to use the tub, pool or shower.

We created an in-wall recess for this plasma and motorized mount above a mantle. A remote control adjusts and tilts the TV so it can be viewed from any angle in the large room. The final result is a “clean” look on the wall and optimum TV viewing. |
